Intro to Officiating: Performing Your First Wedding!
An Officiants Online FREE Weekly Class for Beginners!
This FREE course is held every Tuesday at 12pm PT/3pm ET, beginning in February and running through the end of April!
Just got ordained and want to learn the ins-and-outs of officiating a wedding ceremony? Take AMM's Officiants Online Class for beginners and nail your first wedding!
Each class will be taught by a wedding industry expert, featuring a 25-30 minute presentation, followed by a chance for you to ask questions. It's just like being back at school, but more fun!
Every class follows the same topic and structure—however, the exact content varies by instructor and their particular officiant style! Take one class as a standalone course, or register for multiple sessions (hey, it's free!) to learn from each of our legendary instructors!

Eric Hunt
of Myrtle Beach Wedding Officiants
Eric is a distinguished wedding officiant with over 18 years of experience in the industry. As Owner/Operator of Myrtle Beach Wedding Officiant, Eric also leads two additional brands, Charleston Wedding Officiant and Carolina Wedding Officiants—overseeing a diverse team of officiants serving couples throughout the Carolinas and beyond.

Kathy Vass
In her first life, Kathy Vass was a professional graphic designer working in promotions and marketing agencies. Burnt out and ready for a big change, she always wanted to work in the wedding industry. With a great love for stories and storytelling her journey finally led her to a big light bulb to become an officiant.
She discovered American Marriage Ministries in 2017, became ordained — on her 40th birthday — and immersed herself in all things related to wedding ceremonies. She officiated her first few ceremonies in 2018 and fell in love with this new calling!

Lori Prashker-Thomas, CPWO
Lori was first ordained in 2011 and continued her education to become an ordained Rabbi in June 2013. Lori is a Humanist Celebrant through The Humanist Society, dedicated to crafting ceremonies that reflect the values and beliefs of each couple she serves.
In addition to her work as an officiant and photographer, Lori is also a Paralegal at Lehman Law, PC, an award-winning author of the book (From Mistakes To Miracles), a motivational/inspirational speaker, and director of the non-profit organization I Picture Hope.

Liz Rae
LIz Rae is a professional wedding officiant with over a decade of experience in the industry! Liz began officiating when she was originally asked to officiate a friend’s wedding back in 2014. After seeing a lack of officiants in her market that accommodated to LGBTQ+ couples, and noticing a distinct lack of officiants with a background in writing and public speaking, Liz launched her business in Minneapolis.
One year later, Liz was booked over 50 times and as of writing this, Liz has officiated hundreds of weddings on two continents in multiple languages. Each of the officiants who work with Liz Rae & Co. has experience in both writing and public speaking as well as story training with Liz.
